The UK Human Development Institute (HDI) is excited to present the HDI Disability Mentorship Program. The goal of the program is to build inclusive communities and improve quality of life for people with disabilities by matching mentees with mentors who have the life experience, knowledge, and insights to help others grow personally and professionally. Mentors can be anyone with a disability who is willing to share information and knowledge about disability issues and life experiences. As we launch this program, mentees will either be:
* People with disabilities who are participating in a stay at work/return to work program, or
* UK students who want to learn more about disabilities
Mentors will receive training and ongoing support to grow mentoring skills. Mentors may also be eligible for stipends for participation. If you have a disability and want to learn more, please take our quick survey. Taking the survey in no way obligates you to participate in the program.
