Looking for some outreach ideas for middle and high school. What are other YSCs doing virtual learning?

I’m doing FRYSC Field trips /Guest Speakers to put in You Tube for my kids to watch. Also, may do some college visits the same way in spring.
I am going to do a virtual career fair. Still working out the logistics.
I’m still having my anime club via zoom – my first meeting I plan to let the kids share some of their current shows then watch a drawing video from YouTube and we all share our creations. They love this little club – I seriously know NOTHING about Anime but these kids love it and it’s a chance for them to connect to other kids who love it too.
We are doing Career Topics. “Bringing in” practitioners from fields students are interested in learning about. And a College Essay Writing workshop virtually.
I am new coordinator for YSC in Garrard. I am following to see of some ways I can do virtual.
I’m just trying to cover Basic needs right now – I don’t have time to add anything virtually- and once we are back in real school … my guess is that everyone will be trying to ‘catch everyone up’ and I understand that – they won’t have much time for ANY extras – I hope I’m wrong and I’ll deal with it when it comes, but for now … We’re just trying to keep everyone’s heads above water 🙂
I need help on this area too. I am
Swamped with getting our kids back in person this past week but so worried how I will
Meet the usual
Programming with not having assemblies and having guests in our building. Reality store? Truth and consequences? Red ribbon week speaker?
I did set up a canvas course with all my info, a zoom link for kids to chat before school, and my Bitmoji classroom. That makes it easy for kids to stay in the same platform they are using for school and hop to me if needed.
I have a active website that covers just about everything and I’ve been using remind to stay connected but I feel like I need to be out connecting. I am going to start groups via zoom and I have a fall shop where students can come shop for clothes, appointment only, coming up.
