Last night, Cave City McDonald’s showcased their commitment to our community by helping others — nearly 3,000 Big Macs sold with the portions benefiting our Caverna, Glasgow and Barren FRYSC Christmas Angel Program.
McDonald’s employees was hard at work to make sure everything went off without a hitch! Amy Linder and her staff were excellent and deserve the warmest many thank you’s! Many of the employees who worked last night, and even many not scheduled, showed up to work and volunteer for several extra hours to help our children.
For all the folks that came in and made a donation for needy families to have a meal —we are grateful! We delivered those meals as well.
Even if you cannot see a child’s face at Christmas or the family to which you donated a meal, your compassion changes lives right here in our community. Last night was just another display of why it is such a blessing to live and work in this community!
